Pictures from Italy Review: Pictures from Italy. I was looking for good travel writing on Italy, and of course how could I skip Dickens' journal on his trip to Italy? This short work is a lot different from his novels, the writing is a lot more relaxed, and readable whereas some of his novels seem dated in the type of language used.
